Phnom Penh

Phnom Penh is the capital of Cambodia and the most populous city in the country. It is located on the banks of the Mekong River and is known for its rich history and culture.

 

Phnom Penh was founded in the 15th century and was once the capital of the Khmer Empire. The city was destroyed by the Khmer Rouge in the 1970s, but it has since been rebuilt and is now a thriving metropolis.

Siem Reap

Siem Reap is a city in northwestern Cambodia, best known as the gateway to the Angkor archaeological complex. The city is located on the banks of the Siem Reap River, about 314 kilometers (195 mi) north of the capital Phnom Penh.

Siem Reap has a population of about 200,000 people. The city is a popular tourist destination, and is home to many hotels, restaurants, and souvenir shops.
