Manila

Manila is a metropolis located on the eastern shore of Manila Bay, on the island of Luzon. It is the most populous city in the Philippines, with over 13 million people. Manila is a major center of commerce, finance, and culture in the Philippines.

Corregidor Island (Pacific War Memorial Museum)

Corregidor Island is a small island located at the entrance to Manila Bay in the Philippines. It is known for its strategic location, and was used as a military base by the Spanish, Americans, and Japanese during World War II.

The island was heavily fortified by the Americans during World War II, and was used as a last stand against the Japanese invasion. The Battle of Corregidor lasted for 8 months, and ended with the surrender of the American and Filipino forces.
